#Plants #2020 – 2023
DarkDiv Net (Cooperation project)
Recording the dark diversity of plants and soil organisms
The aim of the cooperation is to record the regional species pool and the dark diversity of plants and soil organisms in the Schwäbische Alb exploratory and to integrate the data into the global DDN (Dark Div Network).
The aim is to record plant species in 18 grassland and 22 forest EPs at the 10x10m and 50x50m scale (two grassland and forest EPs each), and soil chemistry and organisms in two grassland and forest EPs each.
Cooperations are projects financed by the cooperation partners’ own funds and thus financially independent of the DFG-funded infrastructure priority program ‟Biodiversity Exploratories (BE)”. They complement the BE with further interesting research content on biodiversity research and in return benefit from the infrastructure of the Biodiversity Exploratories.
